JMC is a Swiss inspection body as well as a notified body for transportable pressure equipment according to ADR / RID. We also offer conformity assessment of pressure equipment according to PED 2014/68/EU, welding engineering and supervision, 3D metrology, non-destructive testing as well as auditing of management systems.

About us

JMC was founded in 2008 as JOSEF MEYER Bogie AG in Rheinfelden/Aargau. The aim and purpose was the development and marketing of a quiet and low-noise bogie for freight transport.

In 2017, the purpose of the company was transformed and in 2018, the accreditation as an inspection body for dangerous goods reclamation took place.

In 2022, the company moved into new premises on the ISEMEYER site at Chleigrütstrasse 11 in Rheinfelden.

Today, the company has 3 employees and provides more than 300 inspections of RID dangerous goods wagons as well as other services for customers, such as conformity assessment of pressure equipment according to PED 2014/68/EU, welding engineering and supervision, 3D metrology, non-destructive testing as well as auditing of management systems.
